A History of
Cheesy Pleasures

Cheesy Pleasures was founded in 2015 by Laura Elsken, a Cheese Belt native and avid cheese connoisseur, for nearly 40 years Laura has brought the joy of new experiences in the world of Cheese to her community.

Originally located in downtown Greer SC, Cheesy Pleasures made our big splash in Foodies, located in the Historic Greer Depot. Locally known as The Old Railroad Station, we took inspiration from the rich history of Cheese in the American South and brought it to this quaint cultural hub of South Carolina.

In 2020 Cheesy Pleasures made the pilgrimage to our new home in Market on Main in the heart of Spartanburg, SC where we bring new experiences to the cheese-curious and foodies alike.

Today we offer the finest selection of artisanal cheeses from around the world, providing workshops on cheese pairings and one-on-one coaching to craft Charcuterie Boards as unique as you! 🐁
